By simply whipping up some of the Basic Chocolate Cupcakes, adding sandwich cookie crumbs to the batter and the Fluffy Buttercream on top (142), you can dazzle your friends and disarm your enemies. Not good enough for you? Place half a cookie on top each cupcake and you can do no wrong. I’ve made these twice. They’ve won rave reviews from friends, co-workers, even football-watching strangers. Ah, the miracle of refined sugar brings us closer together once again.
